Great stadium that should be remembered with all its history. In their glory days under Coach Miller, he used to have em wear "Beat Highlands" stickers on their helments back when that was the big game to see who went to the playoffs. This was back in the late 60's and early 70's mind you, well before the internet wars. Gotta love the memory.

Newport goes backwards from there and is denied points. HC takes it down the field with a minute left in half and scores to make it 21-7.

Great job INDIANS and welcome to the special fraternity of State Champions. This game was won in the trenches by the linemen. HC did not dominate but they did control the line on both sides. they adjusted to what Glasgow did and got the job done. Congrats.

All Tell, Holy Cross had a 4 hour drive and had a sizeable crowd as well.

Can we just put all the m=named teams at #2 and say, 2A HIGHLANDS ( because LN did all the homework and gave a great analysis of the LINE play) 2B BOWLING GREEN ( just because a BUDDY said too) 2C TRINITY'S 2's (they just gotta be that good) 2D WASHINTON HS SD ( why not, they are one of the best 16 teams in their class I hear) Go Birds and Indians!
