Highlands. This is the final game for one of the most focused group of kids that I have ever seen.

HHS 42-14 Too many weapons on offense. These teams met twice before in 3A for the Championship--1975(HHS 21-0) and 1982(HHS 6-0). I don't think the third time will be the charm but I can see Franlin-Simpson finally scoring against the Birds.

Highlands wins this one easy 49-7.

I think the Birds take care of business and bring home their 5th in a row. Highlands has way to many weapons to stop..

Highlands also beat FS in the 1981 Recreation Bowl 7-0. This was right after FS recorded back to back State Championships in 79' and 80'. Those teams were led by Joker Phillips.

How is FS's kicking game. Do they have a kicker that can make the end zone? If not, do you take the chance of a big return or squib it and give the Birds a short field to work with?
