The two deep lineups for both teams are on the KHSAA website. It appears that Franklin-Simpson has 5 players going both ways.

No reason to think this is going to be close. I would like to see it be at least somewhat of a game, but I can't see it happening. I think that Highlands has played their toughest opposition that they will face by far.

Any FS fans out their have any input on their team. What kind of offense and defense played. Who their playmakers are and what strengths do they have. Go BIRDS.

The KHSAA stats indicate they run the ball about 3 times as often as passing it. Not sure about what type of defense they use... although I'm sure that other than Lone Oak, they haven't faced a passing team the likes of the Birds this season.

I hadn't remembered hearing the story about the Christian kid for Highlands (surname - not religion) being ill. Crazy story. Glad to see he made it back and is contributing.

Very scary time this past summer. Your right, great kid and a great family. I remember seeing Ron with tears in his eyes just after David made a beautiful catch for a touchdown this year. Those tears meant alot more than just your boy scoring a touchdown. Good luck to David this Saturday and GO BIRDS.
