Someone let us know how many yards JJ had.

Devon Bruns was an animal tonight. He spent a lot of time in the Eagle backfield. There were many great plays tonight, but I thought the best was when he blew up the center and tackled both the QB and RB at the same time. Awesome play.

I left with 9 minutes to go and he didn't have much. He fumbled at least once, maybe twice.

Did that a couple times tonight. Sweet.

Birds win in a rough and tumble game.

Prayers going out for the Golden Eagle player who was taken to Children's at halfttime with an unknown injury.

I remember Bruns when HHS scrimmaged Trinity. He was tough and physical.

This game would have been ugly earlier if the flags were more even. I would like to see the amount of flags and the yardage in this one.

yeah...guys with Yellow Flags "gained" more yardage than JJ

Congratulations to the Birds; can't wait until next week.

Have to say, that was a pretty sad performance by the officiating crew. Highlands has been called for holding just a few times this year. They were called for holding seven times...in the first half.

And zero for Johnson Central.
