So is Sheehan done or what?

That was the worst refeered game I have seen in a long time. An that is alot of games that I have seen and have to compare to. I now understand what is wrong with Lexington football.:idunno:

And Dixiedarling is spot on about the O-line play. It just doesn't get any better.:thumb:

I saw a tweet that said Sheehan is out for the rest of the season. What happened?

Congratulations all you Highlands fans. Towles with 400+ yards and a great all around team effort. Good win and a chance to play CCH next week. After the loss back in 99 I swore that I would always cheer for anyone that was playing against Highlands but i will have a hard time cheering against towles. He is such a talented young man. Good luck next week and let's just say that while I can't bring myself to support Highlands I at least won't be upset if they win it all again. Begrudgingly i have to admit they've earned that much respect. LOL....

Congrats to HHS! Also, I got to listen to some of the HHS webcast of the game last night and on numerous occasions the HHS broadcast crew talked about how well-coached JC was. Congrats to JC on a great season.

I had a great view of the reason the police were called into the stands as did the HHS linebacker mentioned. At the start of the game some JC, looking like Moses, was verbally intimidating HHS people. The police let him know that sportsmanship is expected at DCM. Later, the same guy with a "big oral cavity" was not happy a HHS fan was cheering behind him on what he insisted was JC property. JC fan stood up, stepped toward HHS/linebacker, and that put JC one step from getting his Ho Chi Minh beard knocked off. I saw that look!! The police did the right thing by sitting behind the JC "fan". But, I'm certain the JC fan quieted down because the police were there and because he saw "that look" from the ex-HHS linebacker and his life flashed before his eyes!

 

It is sad though, since i'm sure most JC fans are great people and fans, but EACH time I have sit in the stands during these JC/HHS games the same verbal crap flows out of just a few socially challenged JC people. These few might be able to bully people back home but the real men of JC should put a stop to this and let's just watch what has become a yearly meeting between two great football programs.

 

Let's pray all the injured players, both teams, recover soon and completely.

Before you start making any false assumptions I'd go back and read the game thread to see who put it out there.

These guys were from Lexington.

 

I doubt if we'll ever see them again. They took a pretty bad berating from the fans -- especially from the crow's nest.

 

I wonder if you guys had the same crew from Lexington we had at a game. If so :lol:. The crew we had got ran out of there, I don't think they knew the rules. Sad thing was we got the majority of the "bad calls" in that game. Any way congrats to Highlands. :thumb:

Does the "Linebacker" confronting someone and getting ready to "Ho Chi Minh beard knocked off" or a fan using terms like "looking like Moses" and "big oral cavity" have more class than this bad fan? No matter how bad this fan/fans were guys its called the high road, some should learn to take it. At every school, including Highlands, for every bad fan there are 20 good fans. Good luck the rest of the way in winning another state title.

Ok...sorry about the Moses thing. BUT....someone used the linebacker term in earlier reply so I continued. I used the "Ho Chi Minh" phrase because it looked like Ho Chi Minh's. Hey he wears it! I was trying to be less confrontation in using the "big oral cavity" comment but of course he did shoot off his mouth intimidating other fans until directly "challenged" by HHS fans. Bottom line....the JC fans did make things entertaining in the stands last night when the game got boring. The JC fan started the whole problem. Bullies usually shut up quickly when confronted.

I guess you didn't read the whole thread . The nice looking gentleman , with a neatly trimmed beard , was out of line and the police were watching this JC fan BEFORE the former HHS player was ever involved. Having known this former HHS player for a while , he showed a lot of class by NOT knocking out the JC fan in question. There should be no more discussion on this topic , the thread is about the game.

That's pretty funny, because all the JC broadcast team talked about was what penalties were missed on the previous plays and how they always get homered by the refs when they came up to NKY. I think they must have gone to another game by accident.
