The worst Highlands logo was the wing with the "H" from the early 80's.

I read where the head coach, Bill Herrmann, said the kids voted to replace the mean bird with this. I don't remember this vote.....

Call me a homer but i really like our football helmet (Middlesboro) ,The Yellow and black goes really good together.

I like Somerset's helmets very nice and traditional. Second will have to be LCA. Third would have to be the X men I love that X it looks really nice. Fourth is Danville that silver with the admiral in the state very nice. The fifth would be Madison Central.

Something about that classic Notre Dame Gold Helmet look!! I hope that BGHS NEVER changes that!

 

Owensboro had a New England Patriots look in the sixties and seventies. The helmet looked the same except for a really mean looking devil's head in red and black on a white helmet. Looked excellent!

 

My favorite F-S helmet was from back in the seventies. It featured a gray Wildcat's head on each side of a blue helmet. It had a white stripe flanked by two red stripes. Leatherneck probably remembers this helmet...it's what F-S wore in the 3A Championship Game in 1975.
