How in the world do you know this? Frankly, I think Warren Central has taken a shot in the dark on a guy that has no high school coaching experience and is just hoping it works out. They were enamored with him because he has been a "college coach". If this shot in the dark fails, it will set Warren Central Football back 5 years. Feggins said that about Highlands because his son played at Highlands and that is the only team in KY he's familiar with. He's never coached a day in his life in the state of KY, much less south central Ky. He probably had no clue when he said it that there is a team 2 miles away from where his press conference was held that's won 44 straight. That's the team he needs to be focused on, not Highlands.

Translation: You have complete faith in Coach Trosper until Jeff Martin is beaten out at the QB position.

Henry Clay in 1995 and Bourbon Co. in 1997 were on the road 5 straight weeks to make the state championship game with Bourbon actually winning the 97 2A state title.

If it takes you 2.5 hrs to get to BG from Louisville you have a serious driving problem. It is less than 2 hrs every time I have ever driven it.

WKU is the best venue in the state to hold the state football finals. That is kinda hard to argue.

John Hardin would beat every 5A team in NKY. NKY 5A is as bad as anywhere else in the state.

There is no longer a reciprocal agreement (open enrollment) with Hardin Co. Schools. That is what has happened to Etown football.

Since winning the state title in 1991, GRC has won just 6 playoff games and had just 6 winning seasons. That potential may not be what one thinks it to be.

A good situation for any football coach first and foremost is the opportunity to win games. Larue was 0-11 last year. If he has a great financial/teaching set up that is great, but that won't stoke the competitive fire for long if he is a true "coach".

Because they are a private school with deep pockets that can afford it and they have a hard time finding games due to the fact they recruit Dade/Broward County. Just a hunch.

KWC is on another planet in terms of their recruiting. But I don't believe the KWC administration cares anything about having a viable football program.

EKU and Murray do a terrible job recruiting instate considering the product they put on the field with mostly out of state players. I would argue both schools could win just as many games as they have the past 10 years if they were only allowed to recruit in state. If they were winning the OVC and 10 games a year with what they were recruiting, I would understand. But they aren't coming close to that. Then they wonder why their attendance is abysmal.
