  1. I think that's kind of the point he's trying to make.
  2. Yes he did. That was a very good Hoptown team that i believe included Deontay Kenner (UC) and a few others that were D1 type players. That was a great hoptown team (in spite of the Pinner age issue).
  3. If you don't understand why....then well....you just don't know. You sound a lot like the Greenwood contingent in the late 1990's early 2000's.
  4. If they start the season off beating a Warren East team with 20+ seniors returning including a big time player in Eli Brown (albeit coming off knee surgery) then i'll fall in line with Doubletake1906.
  5. I can see the Spartans falling back to the pack significantly this season. Lost a lot of talent and replacing an entire coaching staff without much experience. Can see them finishing anywhere from 4-6 to 6-4.
  6. Actually the Highlands Trinity scrimmage is not very competitive. SK did beat Collins.
  7. Smith had one really good season where he rushed for 1000yds. I believe it was his senior season...he had to play behind WKU All American Joe Arnold (who is one of the greatest RBs WKU ever had) for most of his career.
  8. Hyperbole much? He was one of the greatest RB's Harrodsburg High ever had.... Looking forward to watching his son develop as I've heard he is talented.
  9. Smith was the defensive coordinator at Bardstown last year.
  10. Cooper was 3-8 a year ago. That pendulum started swinging last year, although looking at their schedule I doubt they will be any worse than 3-8 in 2014.
  11. Pulaski will be good. Overall team speed keeps them behind the Purples. Graves has 2-3 players with D1 offers.
  12. 1. BG 2. Pulaski Co 3. Graves Co 4. John Hardin 5. Madison Southern
  13. 1. Belfry 2. Central - Will be young but talented. 3. Wayne - Like Central, young but talented. 4. Bourbon - Transfer QB to go with talented RB? 5. Monroe Co. - Loaded the next 2 years.
  14. 1. Scott Co. - 6A state champs 2. Male - Beat both T & X twice last year and return a good core. 3. Trinity - Only in-state loss was to Male twice 4. McCracken - Return QB and some very good skill players 5. Lafayette - They have 3 division 1 commits.
  15. That's one way of looking at it. One could also view it as the entire district/school administration quitting on kids. Football has the largest participation of any extra curricular activity at any school. It is also the most visible. You don't hire a head coach at a school the size of Eastern, give him 2 assistant coaches, and then say "Go beat Trinity!" .....and then judge him for getting his head handed to him.
  16. Healthy thriving big pond > Healthy thriving small pond Unhealthy big pond Still, unhealthy big ponds tend to have more good fish than most good small ponds. Highlands and Mayfield are the 1% exception.
  17. Don't get it twisted. It is very fun if you are one of the elite players those coaches need to keep their big money jobs. If you aren't one of those players, you are just part of the camp gimmick to generate money for that schools GA's.
  18. Cullen Reynolds, OL - Madisonville (Committed to WKU) Heath Wiggins, DL - Graves Co. (Committed to WKU)
