Congrats to Grayson! A real stand-up kid.

 

He's not a known name yet to many, but will be a monster this year on defense for the Cards. Also will most likely take over for Daniel at WR.

 

He impacts the game in a lot of ways!

Really impressed with the video. Although he didn't look really fast, that has to be deceiving because he had some really impressive closing speed on defense which is what I liked the most about the video. That's the only kind there is at the FBS Div 1 level.

Some kids say that but it's actually a preferred walk on offer. Whichever, congrats to the kid!

I agree - the angles he's taking on those TD saving tackles from the outside backer/DE spot are pretty good for the HS level I think. And five blocked kicks is pure effort. Sometimes its cliche... but he's just a player. Very football savvy.

I think I've read 4.70 40, and a 34 inch vertical. Not super fast, but he was the anchor on a couple of legs for the SCHS track relay teams at state, so he can run. Super athlete.

 

UPDATE - Just got off the phone with Grayson, and he said today in front of the head coach he ran a 4.48 40-yard dash and they offered him a scholarship after the camp.

I can tell you that at UK he ran a 4.45 40 on the laser. He is fast. He also had a 39 inch vertical. This kid can play. WKU offered him on the spot 2 weeks ago. He is a legit D1kid

That's impressive for a athlete with zero stars or no rating by the recruiting sites. Michigan State has him listed as an outside linebacker for now. They have 2 three star and a 4 star db for 2014 and another three star db verbal for 2015. He is the sixth verbal for MSU in his class. The Big 10 is pretty tall cotton considering his only previous offer was from WKU. Hope to see him in the playoffs.

Heading to play for one of, if not the best defensive mind in the game...Pat Narduzzi. Sparta has become one of the top 15-20 programs the last few years. Huge congrats to he and his family.

That is awesome!! Like I said it looked like he had deceiving speed where he may not look fast but he was closing on players very fast. I wish him the best, love kids like that that don't get the publicity per say that others get but end up getting their opportunity at a big time school. Very happy for him!!

 

THSrocks said MI State has him listed as LB which makes perfect sense, he seems to have a great knack for the ball. I'm sure they will put some weight on him and he will probably be playing at 200+ once they get him in the weight room. I'm very excited to watch his career. Love stories of this kind!
