  1. This is a very long article, but interesting. May shed some light and be just one of a million examples of corruption by Police/Government. How two Police agencies built a money laundering machine
  2. Doesn't seem to be a problem with the Indiana team. Kentucky Struggles with All Stars Participation
  3. He coached the offensive line at Warren Central last season.
  4. Grayson County? There is no chance of BG losing to Grayson. St. X, Christian, Owensboro, Central Hardin, and McCracken are games that will challenge BG. BG will be 9-1 / 8-2.
  5. At 5'11 215 and a "verified by laser" 4.63 40 time, I'm surprised he doesn't have any offers. Any insight as to why?
  6. Barren County job opened this week. Can only assume she would be interested in returning home!
  7. Do you feel the same way about band, choral music and art being included in the school day?
  8. Playing at Highlands wasn't going to make him any faster. That is why he has no D1 offers. Not because he chose to change schools.
  9. That should not take away from an individual award where he was the best player on the field in every game his bad team played and is a D1 commit. We are supposedly talking about the best players in the state. Being a D1 commit qualifies whether he plays on a bad team or not. Highlands played several bad teams. Ironically the teams you used as an example were the teams Highlands lost to. Veneman is a good player and the best NKY has to offer, but not statewide. If you are picking the absolute best in the state(hence the name "all state"), I'm taking the D1 guys, not good high school player that had good statistics.
  10. When players that hold D1 offers are listed as honorable mentions behind others that are "just" good high school players the team is flawed IMO. The biggest slight in this AP All State team is the complete omission of Nick Coffey of Russell County who is a D1 WKU commit. He didn't even make honorable mention. Any "all-state" team that does not include the states D1 talent (that hold actual offers) on their first or second team loses a lot of credibility IMO.
  11. There are "lies, damned lies, and statistics". 2 of the 3 first team WR's have multiple D1 offers as Juniors and are outstanding players. Lucky Jackson (WKU commit) being second team is a bigger joke than Venneman being an honorable mention. Does Venneman have any D1 offers?
  12. If he was offered the Henderson job with a pretty good 8-3 gig he should have gotten the heck out of Larue County on the first bus to take him. Was he offered the job? You are obviously friends with Josh, so I guess you would know. Do you have the same outrage for this situation? It is virtually the same scenario. I'm not sure how Smith got pulled into this either...but make no mistake, if he were offered a 150,000 a year job a Troy he would have taken it. He was not offered a job at Troy or any other division 1 job since being fired at UK with Phillips staff.
  13. It appears Josh Jaggers has not left Larue County due to having it made in his 8-3 job. It has nothing to do with loyalty to Larue County football. If it was strictly football, he would have been gone 2 years ago. I'll be surprised if he pulls up roots and coaches somewhere else while leaving his 8-3 job in Larue. He can stand on his own two feet coaching wise and has enough ties between his dad and granddad to land on his feet as a football coach if he wants to leave his "wonderful" 8-3 job at Larue. As far as Chuck Smith is concerned, loyalty to Boyle County High School didn't have much to do with it, IMO. I don't think I'd call Smith loyal or disloyal, but he is self serving and would leave Boyle in a heartbeat if he thought he couldn't win at Boyle or if he was suddenly made to perform real classroom duties from 8-3. Right or wrong, employment is a two way street. The coach can look for other jobs if he chooses and take them. Administrations can find another coach if they want. There is no honor among thieves.
  14. Every other teacher in the state lose their accumulated sick days if you do not work consecutive years. Not sure why Smith would be any different, but maybe he is.
  15. Pretty sad that you have to play a semi-state game on a field in that bad of shape!
  16. Adairville Auburn Lewisburg Olmstead the schools was the size of GW and WC combined enrollment of 900 students not five schools, regardless its about the kids, sports can only take you so far.
  17. Logan County did it in one season in basketball!
