I say Purples hot and heavy in first half and then they start resting their horses for the Pulaski County game.

Purples 52

Greenwood 7

Hope Clark Payne and young Purples are ready because I think they could see some good minutes here. This is a great game to use to set the stage for next year. I know it helped Campbell Gott last year!

Bowling Green wins this pretty easily.

BG - 41

G'wood - 10

Greenwood is better defensively this year than they were last year and last year they made BG drive the ball to score each time. On offense, the Gators keep the ball on the ground and eat clock. The Gators have also shown themselves to be getting better as the year goes on as so often happens with Veer teams. Look for them to put up a solid fight against the Purples.

My bold prediction is Greenwood staves off the running clock. If BG did get it, I think it doesn't come until mid-4th quarter. But the win is never in doubt either for BG.

BG 55-7

I say Purple get the running clock fairly early. Ill stick with 52 - 7 Purples.

Only the players and a few parents will think Greenwood has a chance. Honestly, I think the kids are more excited about what they're doing after the game than the game itself.

When's softball season start?

On offense, the Gators keep the ball on the ground and eat clock.

They won't eat clock on this defense. Maybe the JV guys and Frosh.

Purples 45-7

BG 94-GW-2

The Greenwood defense starts the game off with a safety. It's all downhill from there.
