  1. They have a shot. But '11 was supposed to be "The Year" for the Black Bears and they didn't even win the region. '12 was an unknown and they did win the region but faltered at home in the semi's. 13 is supposed to be "The Year" again for the Black Bears. Until they can defend the pass and do anything but run the ball they will have a hard time getting to BG. Pulaski is a passing team and will give Harlan a run for the region. Then waiting in the semi's will probably be Anderson Co or Conner (both passing teams). Good luck, but consider me a skeptic.
  2. I have a hard time believing in Harlan Co. until they prove they can throw the ball and stop a good throwing team.
  3. Replacing the QB in Warren Centrals offense is easily done. Replacing what they lost on the OL/DL will be much tougher. They will still be more athletic than anyone in 5A not named BG, John Hardin, or Christian Co.
  4. Who the heck are they going to surprise if they aren't surprising people in the top 10? What is this thread about? Are they going to surprise people by jumping out from behind the concession stand?
  5. Lack of QB play and linemen are reasons I don't believe Male will be a top 10 team. They always have some outstanding skill athletes. In saying that, they have lost the past 2 years to Manual and last year was not a good Manual team.
  6. They always do.
  7. Ballard...maybe. Male, no.
  8. :no::no::no:
  9. Agree with JH at 2. Christian Co. and Warren Central will be ahead of Conner & Cooper.
  10. Warren Central should NEVER lose to Grayson Co. Ever.
  11. Middleton is the 3rd D1 commit from the BG/Warren Co. area in 3 days following Narcarius Fant (WKU) and Eli Brown (Vandy). Impressive.
  12. Hunter Biven has to be #1 on any list of Apollo players. He played on some very bad teams, but nobody in Apollo history had the offers he had to every major conference school in the country. 1. Hunter Biven 2. Zane Beehn 3. Antwaun Floyd
  13. With two D1 recruits, anything less than winning their region and a chance to play in the 3A state championship game will be a disappoinment. They are a school that will probably be 5A after the 2014 season.
  14. Cocaine is a heck of a drug.
  15. 1. Damon Hood 2. Lonnell Dewalt 3. Tom Napier
  16. 1. Dale Lindsey 2. Robert Reynolds 3. Avery Hibbitt
  17. Is it just me or does it sound like Hall of Fame coach Sam Harp and the previous staff left the Ad's in poor shape?
  18. Lots of talent in the Bowling Green/Warren Co. area over the next couple years. Eli Brown is obviously the biggest talent of them all. Congrats to Eli!
  19. Yes. Gators find their coach
  20. Smith wants to be paid 70,000 (teacher/coach) and do nothing but coach. Schools just won't do it. It is the reason Smith isn't at Dunbar. It's the reason he isn't at Ashland. It's the reason he isn't at Boone. My guess is he won't be at Hendo for the same reason.
  21. Congrats to the Dragons. Goodluck in the 4th region tourney.
  22. That's not what St X said after they put a running clock on the Birds in 2005 and beat them 2 Td's in 2006.
  23. I know for a fact that BG middle school runs nothing the same as BG high. Completely different offense and defense. Nothing is even close to the same in any way.
