What does Grayson County need to do to improve in 2013? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Ed Smart may be the best coach in the state that no one talks about...his bunch at Grayson are as tough as nails and a tough out...for everyone. During his time at GC, they have beaten Warren Central and Owensboro and won 9+ games 3 times. GC truly makes you "fear the Veer"!

They beat the worst Warren Central team in the past 15 years.

Unfortunately, they also beat a decent one the year after that. Which beat Bowling Green the following week.

To be perfectly honest, for Grayson County to improve from last year's second round playoff loss, they need to get the #1 seed on their side of the bracket so they can avoid playing John Hardin until the Regional Finals. Regardless, they will lose when/if they play JH in the playoffs.

Warren Central should NEVER lose to Grayson Co. Ever.

Smart is a great coach! I saw Owensboro destroy Grayson Co. in the first round of the 5A playoffs 3-4 years ago. Then Grayson Co. comes back to Owensboro and beats the Devils. The Cougars were disciplined and methodical. i would think Smart would be in high demand at a more traditional power school.
