No shocker. You usually are wrong on seeing games. :lol2: And everyone has injury problems. South is just the new kid that uses them as an excuse.

5A R1-D2 Championship - Greenwood at Bowling Green
Blockbuster replied to Purple88's topic in KY Football (High School)
Greenwood will play ball control, keeping the ball away from the Purples. If the Gators get first downs, it will be close. If they don't, the Purples can win by 21+ -
They scrimmage the next 2 years.

It must have been the facilities at UT Martin that made him choose them over Texas A & M.

Maybe the Ky All-stars could find an All-A classic to play in. -
This is a cryptic quote from you BBJ from the 2014 WC thread hiring of Feggins ...Nostradamus we will call you.

Since winning the state championship in 1991, GRC has had 8 winning seasons in the past 25 years. 3 of those 8 were 6-5 campaigns. They have won just 6 playoff games in the same time getting past the 2nd round of the playoffs just twice and won zero region titles. Sportsfan08 is dealing with the reality and facts of GRC over a 25 year period. Everyone works hard, you got to have some talent.

Will KHSAA ever allow this?!

What about the 30-40 football only athletes (+,- a few depending on size of school) that are missing out on repetitions at the expense of a handful of "multi-sport" athletes? -
Dan Haley, Alan Cox, Perry Thomas would disagree. There was issues with Randy Wyatt prior to him getting the Tilghman football job when Perry Thomas was coach. There were many issues in his tenure as coach at PT. Now there are issues with him after resigning/being let go as football coach that has caused the present coach to resign after 2 years. Is there a pattern that has developed?
-
If true, that is terrible. When track wins out over football and causes the football coach to resign the priorities are out of whack. Track championships? If a tree falls in the forest and nobody is there to hear it does it make a sound?
-
That would tell me what I already know. Players and support has a lot more to do with winning than who is wearing the head coaching hat.

Unless I am reading it wrong myself, you must not have read the below quote from his father. He did not get bigger than NAIA opportunities due to academics. He could have carried the ball 25 times a game and averaged 200yds a game, but he would not have been qualified for NCAA FBS/FCS academically. -

Pre-season rankings of state finalists

With 6 classes, it isn't hard to pick who will make the state finals. Most hacks could pick 8 of the 12 2016 finalists right now. -
Fern Creek at Bowling Green 5A SemiFinal Predictions

Caruthers is outstanding, but lets not act like Hibbitt played in a lot of 4 quarter games from 2004-2006. The 2006 BG team had 9 D1 players on it. Hibbitt probably played in double the amount of running clock games Caruthers has/will play in. -
