They honestly need to give their coach some time. They have a really tough schedule and may only win one game. Give them a couple more years to see.

I hope to see some early wins to give our boys some confidence prior to the district ballgames.

Agree

Agree with this too.

Look 3 years is plenty of time to win some games. If they only win 3 or 4 games with the talent they have at GRC they might have made a mistake. I hope the guy wins and I am never in favor of just firing coaches to fire them and it is public school football but if in 3 years at GRC you are not showing more improvement then I cant see them keeping him. Again I hope he wins but the bottom line is it is GRC not Jackson Co.

I look forward to seeing a good season of football in 2016.

Mike Riddell is 5-17 at GRC.

He was 5-6 in 2014 and 0-11 in 2015.

The 5 victories in 2014 came against the following opponents:

Rowan County at Recreation Bowl 21-14 (4A, record of 2-8)

vs Montgomery County 31-21 (5A, record of 2-8)

at Tates Creek 21-6 (District, record of 3-8)

vs Madison Central 46-33 (District, record of 3-8)

vs Bourbon County 27-20 (3A, record of 9-4)

I heard that Jadan Farris is transferring to Henry Clay.

Is that true?

They don't have a ton of talent and have horrible facilities. Give the guy time to get it turned around.

The new athletic facilities will be completed within the next 2 to 3 years. There is talent in the school system.

But not enough to compete at a high level in 6A. We played them before. They had 4 or 5 guys that made you say "Wow" but there was a big drop off after that. They need several good classes in a row to be able to consistently compete with the Lexington schools.

I'm going to have to disagree with that statement.

The GRC football players who work hard all year round deserve better than you trouncing them on BGP. It is hard enough to endure that they went 0-11 in 2015 - they don't need an individual such as yourself pouring salt on their wounds.

Once again, there is talent in the school system for the Cardinals to compete at a high level in 6A!!!

I'm not trouncing anyone. I never said anyone didn't work hard or anything negative about the program. I wish them well. You either have talent or you don't. I don't think they have the necessary talent to consistently compete in 6A. That's all. The majority of schools across Kentucky are in the same boat. It just gets magnified more in 6A because you can't schedule as many winnable games like you can in some of the lower classes.

There is enough talent in the school system for GRC to be .500 or better each and every season while playing at a high level in 6A.

Talent level is not an all or nothing proposition. Talent can be developed from different maturity and athletic levels.

To undermine the talent level of these GRC players is atrocious and damaging on your part.

I would ask you not to comment on GRC Football threads anymore, no matter how you sugarcoat your apologies.
