I heard they had not even done interviews yet. Guess I was told wrong, HaHa.

They have interviewed 8 from the info I have.

Hearing a hire is coming soon.

You have a name?

Confirmed? Although the record may not indicate it, he has done a tremendous job changing the culture of GC football.

It is a done deal. Mullins is the coach. Congratulations to him, I agree that his record is not indicitive of his coaching ability.

Congrats to him.

I'm sure there will be keyboard warriors come out to bring up his record....

I think there are more good coaches in this state at dead end jobs than it is the other way around (but, that's no fun to say. Doesn't keep the ole' pot stirred).

Congrats to him.

hopefully he didn't just take a dead end job....

.....I hope not, either.

Nonetheless, touché.

Mullins has done a nice job at Greenup. Their progress, especially on the defensive side of the ball, has been noticeable. Does he have any connections to Lexington/Central Kentucky?

Who would want to coach at Greenup county? Always going to be the third wheel behind baseball and basketball. Dunbar not great situation but congrats to coach Mullins.

Mullins has done a great job of creating a culture at GC. And the talent level has dramatically increased over the past few years. New hires to the staff have proven their ability and commitment to the program and with the upcoming talent, I see nothing but a bright future for this program as long as they find the right fit to steer the ship. That being said, the school administration has to get in line and hire a coach that can grab the teams respect the same way Mullins did. I say good luck to Mullins and hope his replacement has as much fire and desire as he did. It seems the school administrators keep driving off good teachers and staff. This is the issue in my opinion.

It is the same at Dunbar!

Dead end job is what it is!
