At the Stadium of Champions

 

A game with intrigue.

 

Hopkinsville's legacy stretches way back and they are fighting to regain that Champion's status. They have faced a less than tough schedule and really did not pass the only real test in Christian County.

 

South Warren has popped on the big stage and had success that is really unparalleled in such a short time. They have faced a tough schedule, weathered injuries, and come to this game with an extremely respectable record considering all they have dealt with.

 

Who gets the win. Old Guard or New Guy?

This should be a great one, hear the Louisville staff will there looking at a SW player

I'm thinking Hoptown wins. SW is a great club, but hasn't defended the pass well this year.

Will Ryder Litten be healthy throughout the game? If yes, I mean ghost give South the edge. But playing at the Stadium of Champions should be an advantage as well. Hop town will have to prove they can win a game like this having lost a close 1 point OT game to Franklin n Round 2 last season. BIG opportunity for both teams!

Should be a great game SW may very well win but I don't see SW scoring 34 and Hoptown only scoring 14... Your right SW will get pressure on the tiger's QB but that's when he's most dangerous making people miss receivers coming off their routes and making plays. Don't know if SW secondary can stay with them when a play breaks down. The tigers defense will come after the QB and have the athletes in the secondary to cover. Really like LB 44 for Hoptown dude plays hard and is all over the field. I imagine SW QB will play a good game he's a winner and will make some plays himself running and throwing. This game could go either way and this County guy is pulling for the tigers.

Would love to see if Vegas makes this game a pickem.

The Calpreps projection has it Hopkinsville 31 South Warren 21.

 

Last year the projections were 41-7 in the second round. Since the move to the six class system, the least Calpreps has missed in the second round is 5, the most 12. Commonly, it is about 7-8. So all that to say they don't miss much, but they do miss some.

I would bet all day with SW getting 10.
