Graves at #3, hmmm, they have some really good players but they need a QB bad.

Pulaski will be good. Overall team speed keeps them behind the Purples.

 

Graves has 2-3 players with D1 offers.

I think most would hesitate to go against BG given the run they're on.

Pulaski does return a lot of players. October 31 should be a good indicator when BG travels to PC for a rematch of last years title game and potential preview of this years game.

?? Don't know the other teams very well. What about Franklin Co, Anderson Co, Conner or some of the NKY district teams?

 

With Mad Southern and PC in the same District along with Coach French and a potentially rejuvenated Southwestern, district play could get interesting.

For the first time in a long time I cant let myself think Purples will run the table. After their game @Lexington Catholic (week 2) I will be able to get a fairly accurate prediction for the rest of their season.

 

With that said, WCHS will threaten BG more so than past 3 or 4 years. John Hardin will be in thick of things and the boys of Pulaski County probably have more confidence than 95% of all teams in the state.

 

Harris kid at MSHS will have to carry a heavy load on his shoulders but if he is #1 prep he probably has some pretty strong shoulders.

 

With BGHS losing so many studs there are 4 or 5 teams that truly feel they can dethrone the Champs. Sometimes when hit the champ in the mouth you may get more than you can handle. If Purples win by 2 scores at Lex. Catholic I will say Purples get the 4peat.

 

Good luck 5A, should be an awesome, balanced at the top kind of year.

NKY 5A is young. Every team seems to have question marks at the same positions.

Do not count Southwest out. They have alot of talent in those halls and the caliber of coach they have now will give them at least 7 or 8 wins, plus a transfer or 2 and some kids playing thatsat.out last year, not t ok mention the middle school team they had a couple of years ago. A good coach makes all the difference. Remember Hilton took an 0-11 Bourbon team and won the state the next season.

I agree. NKY 5A is a huge question mark this year.

The last few years they were fairly strong, this year they have too many question marks.

 

I think Cooper may struggle only because they lost so much the last 2 years and are now going to a platoon system, a system I am all for, but we all know it takes time to work through the kinks of that type of scheme. Just look at Boone last year and this year.
