I picked Corbin by 21 over Danville. I will set here on my island

Based on how Somerset hung in with Rockcastle, and how Rock handle Wayne and Wayne dismantled Mercer. I take Somerset by 12.

Mercer should win the rest of the games in the schedule, except Taylor. Taylor should be 6-1 Then and on a roll. No way they beat Dudley down there.

I called it 48-14 wayne. Looks like it may be worse.

I had the spread right Corbin by 21. But both scored 1 touchdown less. Her is an observation. Danville cannot play with the top teams in 3A. And they are not 17th in the state. But they are a top 2A team. But they will not beat Louisville Christian or Desales. And they will not be Boyle County the next 3 years. Danvill has a lot to look forward to. But there are a lot of teams in Kentucky better than them. Corbin is good and they should make a run.

I was responding to a post that Corbin could not handle Danville speed. And for the record waggner and central are on 2 different levels. I take Redhounds next week.

Everyone relax. Danville always beats Boyle every 4 or 5 years. Enjoy this one. It want happen again for another4 or 5 years. It is a big rivalry game. Second Corbin handle Louisville Centrals speed, So?

A lot of the bad shots for Wayne were due to Elkins. Stearns could not get a decent shot off inside of 12 feet. Elkins is the best rim protector in the state

How about the 12th region. Boyle gets most impressive win, Rockcastle gives Mercer all they can handle, Southwestern methodically picks Lincoln apart, and Casey stomps West Jessamine.

Lot of teams hitting their stride in the 12th, next 2 weeks should be great.

I am encouraged, especially if Southwest is #2 in region. Boyle played horrible in the third quarter and then in the fourth they always broke the press and then threw the ball away on offensive end. If Boyle plays their game they can play with anyone. The district and region are getting more interesting all the time.

James can be locked down with man to man defense he is to slow, proven last night. But the plays you give up to the rest of the team by playing man is hard to defend. Catch 22. It will take an athletic team to beat mercer, like North Hardin, but the 12 region gets tough and intense one bad night and you go home. Boyle almost went home in the first round of the district last year. And you no Southwestern remembers Mercer putting them out the last 2 years.

I go with Wayne, tradition and coaching pulls this out.

I think the real issue that most people feel undercut on, is that a private school can go into any community and attract a kid to come to their school, without any boundaries. This coupled with the fact they can assist them financially makes many feel like they have a clear advantage over other schools. Finally, it is no secret that schools like Lex Catholic have new players every year which were not in the system the year before.

It is just so hard to get a shot off in the paint against Boyle, Elkins is everywhere.

It is my understanding he was still under the weather, and had a couple of stints when he sat out. And when you are down late, you have guys shooting alot of 3's. He does need as many touches as he can. But some games dictate things differently. Like being out of the game for 10 mins etc.

Shout out to Josiah, not too many players go into Clay Co. And get 20 pts ,10 rebounds , and 7 assist.

Hey Boyle has played good Defense all year in top 5 in state on defense.

Sounds like Robbins can play any sport he chooses at a high level. What an athlete.

Not so fast South Laurel could have beat Mercer and Clay county is better than South Laurel, North Laurel and Corbin are good as well. I would not want to face Clay County in the First round of the Sweet Sixteen.
