Harrison Lane nails a contested 3 in the corner to give Lafayette a 54-53 lead with 18 seconds left. Boyle calls timeout and Josiah Robbins drives in for the last shot and Elkins gets the rebound and is fouled on the putback with .5 on the clock. Elkins missed the first free throw. He is given the ball for the second free throws and the Lafayette coaches were screaming for a timeout. The referee blows his whistle while Colton has the ball signaling a timeout for Lafayette. Coach Adams is livid for them stopping play when Colton had the ball and the refs get the players back on the line and then Colton missed the second free throw. Ballgame. After the the last few games it was good to see the Rebels compete the way they did. They just need to finish games when they are in control of the game. It's win or go home time now so they better figure it out. Now.
