This game is Monday at 7:45 at Pulaski County High School.

 

These two did not meet in the regular season but they did face each other a few times during June summer ball.

 

This game won't receive the hype as the Mercer County/Southwestern game but this game will be every bit as exciting and intense.

I meant to ask this question before districts began, never got around to it, but why did Boyle only play 23 games during the regular season?

After last week, I'm not going to pick against Casey. It's been a while since Boyle has put back to back good games together.

Logistics. The teams have been unable to find a compatible date the last couple of years. Both teams have been trying to make it happen. It just hasn't worked out.

PP92 is your guy to answer that one. The only game Boyle canceled was the Feb 16 game at Wayne. Turns out that may have been a blessing.

Boyle County had a hard time finding teams that would play them and they also only played in one holiday tournament while most teams play in two.

The winner will likely be the team that dictates the pace. If Boyle's guards take care of the ball like they did against Wayne, I think Boyle will be able to slow it down and get the win. if not, Casey comes out on top.

I agree completely with your assessment. Casey scored 32 points in the 3rd quarter alone vs West Jessamine. That is not easy to do!
