Josiah Robbins finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists.

 

Bryce Slone finished with 16 points, was 4/8 from deep and nailed 2 free throws late to seal the victory.

 

Mack Cox had 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists.

 

Colton Elkins had 9 points, 12 rebounds and 7 blocks.

Congrats to Boyle, out played and coached Clay in every aspect. Clay stunk the gym up couldn't throw one in the ocean. Nice win, Boyle shoots the 3 really well.

For Clay County:

 

Trey Farmer finished with 33 points and 6 rebounds.

 

Blake Smith had 15 points and 5 rebounds.

 

Wes Wolfe had 9 points and 4 rebounds.

 

Will Sexton had 4 points and 7 rebounds.

Fun game to watch for Boyle County fans. Boyle jumped out to a 7-0 lead early thanks to the hot starts for Josey, Bryce and Mack. Josey had his best game to date and continues to get better every game. Mack Cox also had his best game to date as well.

 

Very physical game. Trey Farmer showed off his in the gym range by hitting his first two shots from about 27 feet out. Blake Smith had an off night shooting the ball and Wes Wolfe never really got rolling either.

 

Boyle County came out with a lot of energy and maintained that energy the whole game. Boyle County was up 63-50 at one point but couldn't hit free throws late while Farmer kept hitting buckets to bring Clay County. Farmer hit a big and one to make it 64-62 Boyle County with about 20 seconds or so left. Bryce Slone received the ensuing inbounds pass and was fouled and knocked down two double bonus free throws with 8 seconds left to make it 66-62. Trey Farmer then knocked down a three from downtown Manchester to make it 66-65 and Boyle didn't have to inbound the ball and time ran out. Ballgame.

It was good to meet stay_strong as well as Blake Smith and his father. I'm a big fan of his game and it was an honor to meet them all. Good luck the rest of the season.

Wasn't expecting this outcome. Nice W for Boyle!

Great team effort from Boyle. Elkins played sick but was a monster inside.. the Rebels continue to improve,but still have much more to improve on. I like this team though!!

Sounds like Robbins can play any sport he chooses at a high level. What an athlete.
