Game was never seriously in doubt but Boyle hung around until the 3rd quarter

This is the first time I EVER seen Boyle outmatched in every position. Mercer County's guards were to big and physical for the Boyle guards. Josiah Robins was probably the only bright spot for Boyle tonight. Mercer is the real deal.

I completely missed this one, i thought it was going to be a lot closer. Boyle went to Elkins a couple times early and he got a couple of easy buckets, they didn't go to him much after that. This was definitely a good experience for Boyles young guards, i like their game but they were just physically outmatched tonight.

Also, i thought this was on it's way to being a 35 point game until Adams got a T. The refs called everything on Mercer after that which slowed the pace and kept it close.

Also. Mercer County went right at Colton Elkins all night with success. And Boyle had no answer for Will Hager.

Yes, they attacked the rim all night. Hager looked big out there. He was a load going to the basket.

Absolute beat down.

Congrats to Mercer. That is an outstanding basketball team.

Took one on the chin tonight. Mercer County has an outstanding team. So many weapons. Hager had a great game tonight as did Malik Dow. If you'd have told me that Trevon would have 12 points and Dylan James had 6 I'd have thought Boyle County had won the game of at least kept it close.

Congrats and good luck to the Titans the rest of the season.

That's how it's been all year. On Thursday night against West Jess, Faulkner and James may very well shoot more and score more than Hager and Dow. This team does a nice job of taking what the other team gives them. And the problem they present is that they have 4 players that are legitimate threats to lead the team in scoring any game - and they have had 5 different players do so this year.

You really don't see that often at the high school level.

Did Delcastillo have to get stitches?

Without starting a thread on the JV game I do want to say that Will Bramel looked really good tonight. His footwork is so beautiful. It always cracks me up to hear people scream that he is traveling even though he is simply using his pivot foot properly.

Did Delcastillo have to get stitches?

I haven't heard. I saw him after the game but not sure if he was headed to get stitches or anything.
