Well Dylan in 6'4'' and you see him in the picture with his brother who is a good 3 inches taller and not standing straight up. I know this kid and he was around 6'8'' last time I saw him and in the 7th grade dunking with 2 hands.

Strictly eye test, I would have called him 6'7" (and that's a legit 6'7"). He's not 6'10"...yet.

I bet there will be plenty of bruises between these two teams come morning....game included a lot of pushing and shoving, two technical, a bloody gash and all kinds of loose ball scrums:

PS: unfortunately, I missed the suplex in the first half

Jon Dunning is also a player who will contribute next yr. 6-1 jr pt guard. Plays a lot like Hager just not nearly as strong

Agreed. He doesn't play JV though.i was thinking the question was asking about JV players.

Seems like Mercer is reloading. What does Boyle have coming up PP?

Boyle will be led by juniors Baby J, Bryce Slone and Will Bramel for the next 2 years. Other juniors to be will be Matthew Bodner, Zack Hodge, Jared England, Nate Smith, Will Gibson and Daniel Notter. Caleb Jackson will have opportunity next season as a sophomore along with seniors Dylan Frederick, AC Baker, Evan Shields and freshmen Reese Smith, Landon Bartleson and Cameron Yates.

James can be locked down with man to man defense he is to slow, proven last night. But the plays you give up to the rest of the team by playing man is hard to defend. Catch 22. It will take an athletic team to beat mercer, like North Hardin, but the 12 region gets tough and intense one bad night and you go home. Boyle almost went home in the first round of the district last year. And you no Southwestern remembers Mercer putting them out the last 2 years.

What grade is the younger James brother in this year? Is he in 7th grade or was it last year you saw him and he is in the 8th or 9th grade this year? He is not listed on the roster. Thanks

In NBA we call that a player to be named later. ;)

Mercer County. Their JV team is loaded with talent also.

They should be. It's their entire Junior class except for Dylan James

He only dresses freshman and JV this season also.

In fairness none of those juniors get any varsity playing time. If not for JV games the only action they would see would be in practice. Boyle County did the same thing halfway through the season last year and had most of the juniors playing JV because they were so senior loaded last season. Colton and Josey played varsity and all the rest of the spots were filled with seniors.
