uk#1fan
I think they play at SK at 9am on Monday.
PigSkin Junkie
I don't think they do. If so, Cooper players largely unaware and will be tardy.

PigSkin Junkie
It could be the Juggs, but I doubt it's the Jags.

PigSkin Junkie
Yeah, Cooper doesn't host these very often. Gotta keep the grass nice for the soccer team.
bballguy
Yeah, Cooper doesn't host these very often. Gotta keep the grass nice for the soccer team. You would think that BC BOE could build one modern stadium for three programs to share, or, talk The Florence Freedom into hosting HS football. The fields at Cooper, Connor and Boone are all awful. KYgentleman25
The BC BOE really should have looked into having two fields at Cooper when they built it. Not sure how much it would have cost but would have been better for Cooper athletics.

Not sure how much it would have cost but would have been better for Cooper athletics. When Cooper first opened, they couldn't even afford mats for the cheerleaders to practice on. Boone county public High Schools (except for Ryle where money trumps all) have the worst football fields in the entire area. The BOE wouldn't let Boone Co. HS put in turf when most of the money was being donated by Shawn Alexander, so unfortunately the BOE is and has been a huge problem for these facilities. They just should of put turf in when the school was constructed and contracted for a total of 3 turf fields for a discount. They could of followed with Boone, then completed Conner's field. KYgentleman25
How did Ryle afford its turf? Did they raise a lot of money themselves? But you're right, Boone county high schools athletic fields leave a lot to be desired. They do have very nice gyms. Top notch actually. But none of the baseball fields have lights and grass practice fields usually get torn up pretty fast. Side note: I think soccer should be played on grass as much as possible. No sport is affected by moving from grass to turf as much as soccer.

You know the same as S Alexander tried to do for Boone Co. but Ryle and the money in that school district trumps all others. I have no problem with Ryle having turf, the problem I have is the BOE who told Boone County High School they could not have turf field unless all the other High Schools in the county got Turf field also. Then the money from Triple Crown trumped all other schools in the county and were allowed to put turf in there but not the other schools. The BOE is to blame imo.
