The News-Enterprise : E'town football coach leaving for Louisville St. Xavier

E-town could be the 3A version of Bowling Green if they want.

Yep.

E-town could be the 3A version of Bowling Green if they want.

"If they want" ??

Explain this to me....you make it sound easy. What do they need to do so they are the BG of 3A? Why wouldn't they do that?

I am not saying you are wrong. I am just curious why you said this.

Thanks!

There is no longer a reciprocal agreement (open enrollment) with Hardin Co. Schools. That is what has happened to Etown football.

Does that help or hurt etown?

Does that help or hurt etown?

Are you kidding? Hurts badly.

So this just became a terrible job.

So this just became a terrible job.

No. Been on a down tick for the past 5-6 years since Hardin Co. Schools ended the reciprocal agreement

The agreement gave specific numberst that ran through the 2012-13 school year??? The football program has been down much longer than that. After that date it would be dependent on the growth of the county numbers of increase or decrease. If I read it correctly, this contract became binding by law and does not expire until June 30, 2032.

So it's been an unfavorable job for 5-6 years is what you are saying?

Heard C. Jaggers, J. Jaggers, or A. Lindsey were possible candidates for the job...

Its been open for a day...how are there already candidates?? Or do you mean coaches that are interested?

:puke: oops.......

There is a retired coach in Etown that has a pretty stellar track record! Would he be interested? If so that is a no brainer!
