stick1
What are some of the most impressive things in the history of KY High School football? I'll start with Mayfield. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't they go to 24 of 27 final fours at one point? That is AMAZING and impressive to see the stability of a high school program! ColonelCrazy
I always heard about Don Gullet and how many points he was responsible for. I don't know if it's a record (and I forget the exact story / stories), but I remember it being impressive.

I don't know if it's a record (and I forget the exact story / stories), but I remember it being impressive. I think he had like 81 points or so in a game by himself. He was also a RED! IAmAFan
Alexander's game against Campbell County when he was a junior was individually the most impressive thing I've ever seen.

75center
All are fantastic accomplishments but the Mayfield record of final fours just blows me away.
Hatz
I have to be prejudiced and mention two: 1. Boyle County. (1999-2003) 5 straight state titles. 47 wins in a row. 73-2 over five years. 2. Danville. 5 out of 8 State titles (1987 - 1994). 42 Consecutive wins. 45-2 from 1991-1994. We can list a lot of things here but I thought I'd put them out there for discussion.
