I'm told from my very reliable source that there were four practices. Some players skipped one practice for a senior school event. I have a lot of questions. Why would you not use the Holmes QB on some roll outs and have him run the ball? That would have been a great idea on the goal line. Why did Kyle Furnish not run the ball as he knew the system and ran pretty well for CovCath? Why did the CovCath coaches not learn from the Beechwood game? Sounds like the repeated the same mistakes on first and goal as the Tigers did under the lights in Park Hills.

How many games can a college world series winner lose in the post season and still be national champs? The format is fine. The best TEAM will most likely win. If the schedule is a burden, I would suggest Mr Ernst find something else to do.

I agree old guy. But Coach B has a huge advantage this year knowing who his QB is day one. It took him a while last year, but at least he finally made the right choice. Ice is the man. They just need to protect him better. Do you know who the new center is OG?

Anyone know who will be filling the big shoes of senior Andy Schulte on the o-line? Also, what is the summer schedule for practice? I hear Will Deters is going to be a top back this year in Northern Kentucky.

1-2 innings = no rest 3-5 = 1 day rest 6 = 2 days rest 7 = 3 days rest

Coaches agreed before the tournament to play it out that way. It's hard enough with three games in three days. It's not fair if rain helps one team over another. Let's say CCH/Dixie game gets in tonight and Boone/NCC gets rained out and has to play Wednesday. Let's say the CCH pitcher goes 5 and requires one days rest. He would get an unfair day's rest because of the rainout and could pitch again where as the Boone/NCC pitchers do not have that luxury. To prevent that from happening, all coaches agreed ahead of time to treat the rainout day's rest as if it did not happen.

I thought it was a rule the field had to have lights.
