Final

Maile leads the Colonels with 29pts shooting 14/17 from the floor but after the 8pts Ives scored, no one else from CovCath scores more than 4 points. CovCath shoots 50% from the floor but only shoots 16% (1/6) from the free throw line.

Yarbrough scores 15 pts and Napier 14 to lead the Generals.

Did they have a ton of turnovers? Thats a good % to shoot from the floor and lose. Maile 14/17 from the floor is very impressive.

20+ TO's... Shover dressed and played a little but he is still no where near 100%! Pauly is still sick, as is Isler neither played tonight.... With so many out and don't forget about Matty Klein who is out for the season, it is what it is...

On a side note, it was one year ago tonight that Kelsey Sorrell was killed in the auto accident. The CovCath players wore wrist bands with KS on them during the game....

Thats a great tribute by Cov.Cath..

BTW former CovCath Basketball player and outstanding Academic student Aaron Noll, scored his first points for Vandy in their game on New Years Eve against St. Francis.

Congrats Aaron.....

That's pretty cool. I saw a few weeks ago where he had got in and snatched a rebound.

Tough loss for the Colonels but with Isler not playing at all and Shover playing limited minutes, they had a nice showing.

Luke was actually 14/20 . Thelen had 10 boards.

Colonels need to put this one behind them. They have been playing well. Bluebirds and Beechwood are in the hooper now. Coach L will have them ready and hopefully healthy. Heads up boys, plenty of basketball left to play. Wish we could have been with you tonight.

Colonels messed up my BGP pickem contest, I really thought they could get the win.

Wow. Thelen having 10 boards is quite impressive. Sounds like he played well down low.

OHYEA did he play strong enough?

0/3 from behind the arch... 14/17 from inside the arch.

Another key to this game besides the TO's and the poor shooting from the FT line by CovCath was having the Lafayette bench score 26 points while CovCath bench scored just 2pts..

Colonels out rebounds the Generals 42/23
