  1. I worry about any other Horizon guy. Brannen came in and recruited like he was still at NKU. Same guys. Competing against the same schools. Meanwhile, Houston, Memphis, and Wichita State are recruiting nationally
  2. If you stay in SF, eat at Scomas at least once!
  3. Following the PCH is a great trip. The ocean is always right outside the window. You’ll quickly discover that outside of those major cities, California is really a bunch of small towns. Stop as much as you can. You’ll fall in love. San Luis Obispo is one of my favorite places I’ve ever been. And I’ve traveled regularly for over 20 years.
  4. I completely agree on the UK points. Everyone is excited about this new O Coordinator. But it’s not like Gran didn’t want to open it up. Coordinator calls the plays as directed by the head coach. Always happy when a kid has found his “fit”. I just brought up flipping next year because it’s become all too common.
  5. He’ll leave. But it won’t be because he’s mad. I’m actually surprised that Fickell hasn’t left for bigger and better already. Cincinnati football has always been a launchpad, not a destination. I’d guess he’s waiting for a Michigan, Georgia, Florida elite type of gig.
  6. Wonder what the chances are of him actually going to Rutgers. He’s class of 22’. It’s so normal on CFB signing day now for these guys to “flip”. Not saying that is the case here. But committing before he plays his senior season, all signs point to a flip.
  7. Saw these guys open for Tyler Childers. Pretty mind blowing reimagining on Bruce Springsteen.

    My Dog

I’m familiar with that test. Not super fun. I have severe allergies. I was getting 3 shots a week. Then one of the nurses told me to start taking a benedryl before going to bed, and do Flonase in the morning. It’s worked great for me. I only take benedryl now if they’re extremely bad. It’s basically a first line of defense against things getting into your passages. Obviously it doesn’t work for everyone. I’m sorry for the situation. Getting rid of the dog is never fun.
  9. Little Ricky took the job at New Mexico the day after the Minnesota parting. UAB extended Andy Kennedy today. Is that just a coincidence? I’d like to see Archie Miller. His play and recruiting style would fit Cincinnati much better than it fit IU.

On a serious note, what all have you tried? I have really bad allergies. Not to pets. But I have a friend who is very allergic to cats. But they have 3 of them now. He started using Flonase every morning, and sometimes in the afternoon of he’s having a reactive day. It’s worked for him.

If it were me, I’d just get a new wife. 😂😂
  12. I’ve often joked about the ages of players from the eastern part of the state. But for college, I don’t see the big deal. Realistically, after next season, he’ll be in the 25-26 year old range. But, why be in a hurry to be a grown up? If he loves playing college hoops, and he’s been afforded the opportunity to come “home” and play in front of friends and family, more power to him. It’s not like he’s going to the NBA. If he wants to keep playing, it’ll be in another country.
  13. Yeah. I completely agree. There are a lot of things that coaches do to “send a message”, but walking off like that, especially in the final game, is like violating an unwritten rule. Also, isn’t it odd how Cumberland was almost vilified last year, and now everyone is like “hey. He knew before anyone”?
  14. Is it that hard for Ashland fans to say that they lost to a better team? It happens. Can we be real and say they only made it this far because they got a “best case scenario” draw in the bracket. Good run this year. Be proud. They’ll win the 16th again next year.
  15. I’d say he’s getting fired. They’re just trying to save themselves a few mill by finding a “for cause” reason.
  16. Committed to Tennessee. It’ll be interesting now to see if the SEC waives their rule about having to sit a year after transferring in conference. Commissioner said earlier this season that he would only do it if all schools agreed unanimously. I’m sure either way, Powell and UT can appeal on the “closer to home grounds”
  17. I’d say he’ll be really far down that list. Hasn’t exactly lit it up at Vandy. If they’re keeping it in house, I’d think Hubert Davis will be the guy.
  18. Ballard is always loaded with talent. This year is no different. If you want to slow it down, Bar will make you pay. Hayden is great. But I’ll take Gabe Sisk over any player in the state, in that class.
  19. Yeah. A lot of crazy 40s this year. Combine has lasers. These dudes are running with their coach on a stopwatch.
  20. I was listening. Got mad because McAfee said “ran a 4.29 hand timed 40”... “hand timed” upset him. His demeanor changed immediately.
  21. This will be Bullitt East’s 4th trip to the sweet 16. 3rd as the 6th region champions. Jason Couch is no stranger to Rupp.
  22. I’ve heard several names already for this one. Depending on who, it could really get the Louisville dominoes falling. Also heard they’re going the prep school route. But as with anything Brandon Bender is involved with, it could change daily.
  23. They’re just getting started too. A lot of talented young guys on that squad.
  24. He’s a great one for sure. Heading to UNLV to help his kid out now.
