9068 326 Posted April 3 The winner tonight is whomever has the most gas left in their tank. Good luck! Have a great game!!
DevilMayCare 2,950 Posted April 3 Both teams got tired down the stretch, but Ashland's legs were maybe a little heavier. Not good for a team that utilizes the jump shot like they do. Especially so when you need deep jumpers to shrink a deficit late in the game.
Runcible Owl 1,784 Posted April 3 The King in the North! Bring it home tonight Highlands.
The Professor 1,864 Posted April 3 This game was very physical. The officials let ‘em play. That probably worked to Highland’s advantage more than Ashland’s. Highlands has a very good team. Tonight’s championship should be a dandy between the Bluebirds and Panthers.
DevilMayCare 2,950 Posted April 3 Great season for the Tomcats. They'll be back in the mix next year. Villers, Porter, Sellars, and Carter will all be back. Get hydrated and rest up as best you can, Highlands.
lyons021 3 Posted April 3 I graduated from Ashland however I was born in Cincinnati that’s where I got my drive in athletics during High school cause during the summers when I spent time with my grandfather I ran a lot of my summer races in the Cincinnati area when I ran XC and track in the Ashland area I would dominate Northern Ky Cincinnati area sports is the most competitive kids on the planet usually there is a State champ in something from that area from both sides of the river Congratulations Birds and cats.

That's because there is about double or triple population in the Cinci metro area than the Huntington/Wv tristate area. If things were flipped you would have more state Champions from the Ashland area.

So you're telling me that you don't stand more of a chance of having a very good player or players in any sport when you have double and triple the population? It looks like me and you are going to have to agree to disagree if thats the case.

I don’t care how much hard work and dedication you put into getting better and winning, population numbers do matter.
