He announced his resignation last week. It kind of sounds like “you can’t fire me! I quit!” Coach Amis is a good coach. I hope he bounces back. It’s unfortunate for the players that got stuck in this situation.

There aren’t many better this time of year than Boo Brewer. Wouldn’t be a bit surprised if they win region, then destroy some poor 16th region team in the first round.

I really like his game. But he could also try to do too much and end up shooting them out of it.

Both coaches have been there plenty of times. I like Male because they rely more on upperclassmen. And in high school basketball, that matters. Ballards freshman guards are older than most freshman, but it’s still their first time playing in a game with stakes this high.

Eastern is well coached and always has a good game plan. The future is bright in Middletown.

There’s an argument. But I’d be comfortable taking my chances.

BSN offers that service. So I would assume so. They do their own in house printing. So they can make shirts as they’re ordered.

The coach at Western has done an incredible job.

The reality is, every coach has a shelf life. If you have a great record, you stay longer. Which he did. But at some point, you won’t be on the same page. Probably what happened here.

Really glad Male decided to hold back. On another note, great quote from Lou Holtz playing Bobby Bowden once. Bowden ran the score up. Then told Holtz “it’s not my job to keep me from scoring”

Sounds like he’s been through a lot. Moore always has talent. Hope he’s the right guy.

I can’t tell you how many times we had to get something quick from Shively and they couldn’t come through. Even if you went to pick it up. If it wasn’t in the store, you’d have to wait until they did their once a day “warehouse run”. The warehouse is across the street...

Yes. They’re a huge company, and made a major push a few years ago. Getting the guy that did the bulk of the business for Shively, to cover Louisville, was a really smart move.

The National outfit is BSN. The person who covers the state of Kentucky for BSN was a Shively employee for quite awhile. He left for BSN a few years ago, and has converted a lot of the schools that he used to sell to for Shively. The reality to the story, Shively may have grown a little complacent over the years. It happens in sales. If you aren’t taking care of your customer, someone else will.

Ballard has approximately 14 assistants. Quality over quantity.

This really isn’t a big upset. Seneca has talent. And anyone familiar with coach Coleman knows how great he is at getting the most out of his teams.

With so few games left in the season, why quit now? I don’t know this kid, or what his potential might be. But for a college coach, that’s a massive red flag.

I’m a huge proponent of a shot clock. But I also don’t think that most schools would have someone capable of running it correctly. It’s not as simple as some people think. I just really hate the amount of stories where a coach refuses to come out of a zone, so the opposing coach just holds the ball. Seems to be more and more of them. Or double overtime games where both teams finish in the 40s.
