  1. Small county. 4 high schools. No open enrollment. It’s a tough one.
  2. DG Sherrill is back as coach. According to KY Prep Hoops Twitter.
  3. They should. He’d be great there. Male offered him the job before hiring Haworth. He didn’t want to make the move. But with Traynor graduating, maybe it’s time.
  4. I’d hardly call him an “up and comer”. He’s been regarded as one of the best coaches in Louisville since he was at JTown. Making Seneca relevant again just cemented it. Coach Coleman would be a great fit at Manual.
  5. I could see a few current head coaches going after this one.
  6. I don’t think he was planning to leave Greenup so soon... and the Eminence gig, the great Jason Mayes of Ashland resigned before even coaching a game. So I’ll give him a pass.
  7. It’d be tough for him to juggle his coaching responsibilities along with playing basketball at Indiana University Southeast. LOL.
  8. This is the type of job that will get statewide applicants.
  9. Most of the players at USC played in the same AAU program as him. That’s the likely destination.
  10. Verbal Commits does a good job of tracking it. They have a twitter account for D1 and D2.
  11. It’s really sad that only a third of the schools even turned in a ballot.
  12. I’m going to say Fern Creek wins this by the 2nd quarter. Unless they take Hazard lightly. But I still would say they’re an overwhelming favorite.
  13. He announced his resignation last week. It kind of sounds like “you can’t fire me! I quit!” Coach Amis is a good coach. I hope he bounces back. It’s unfortunate for the players that got stuck in this situation.
  14. There aren’t many better this time of year than Boo Brewer. Wouldn’t be a bit surprised if they win region, then destroy some poor 16th region team in the first round.
  15. I really like his game. But he could also try to do too much and end up shooting them out of it.
  16. Both coaches have been there plenty of times. I like Male because they rely more on upperclassmen. And in high school basketball, that matters. Ballards freshman guards are older than most freshman, but it’s still their first time playing in a game with stakes this high.
  17. Eastern is well coached and always has a good game plan. The future is bright in Middletown.
  18. I’ve said this a lot. Especially if they ever let the 11th region compete too
  19. The atmosphere for this is going to be insane. Trinity has sold out of their ticket allotment. I assume the same for X.
  20. Maybe next year for the young bears, that aren’t so young anymore.
  21. BSN offers that service. So I would assume so. They do their own in house printing. So they can make shirts as they’re ordered.
