Final per Bullitt East Basketball Twitter.

Chargers gave the Tigers a run for the money, apparently.

Seems like Fern Creek might be back sliding.

That game is never a blowout. District game. It was also at Bullitt East. BE is “down”, but they haven’t exactly played a soft schedule either. They have talent. But outside of the Perdew kid, they’re just really soft.

Was particularly interested in this game as Coach Couch and Coach Schooler are both old friends of mine....also Rob Burton, one of Schooler's assistants.

Saw BE at the South Oldham Classic. They definitely are better than their record suggests. Not sure they've got the horses to contend in the 6th at the end of the day, but they have the ability to knock off some teams that might be better on paper.

Saw Fern Creek at the Champions of Kentucky Hoopfest.... Fern Creek is an impressive group of athletes, and when they turn on the "D", they are REALLY impressive. Problem with FC seemed to be - granted I only saw one game - that they didn't always bring the intensity.

Is there a neighborhood rivalry between these two schools? They aren't that far apart, are they? Both are right off Bardstown Road, I believe.

8 miles or so. District rivals.
