Impressive win for Western. The Warriors have never won a region title and have only once finished second, falling to Valley in 1977. It would be really cool to see them make it to Rupp!

Coach Britt has done a great job there. Western has always had the dudes. Just needed the right coach. And Coach Schooler’s lack of coaching at Fern Creek might have finally worn itself out. You can have all the talent in the world. But if you don’t guide it, or know how, it turns on you.

Western has really come on.   I remember the Warrior teams of the 70s - they were tough to beat, but never could get the brass ring.    Regardless of the results in the finals, Western has had a great year.

They’re just getting started too. A lot of talented young guys on that squad.

I don't 🙂  Seriously, this should be a better game this time around.  BE won by 20+ a few weeks back, but as we've already seen, that really doesn't matter much.
