BE did it back when they had Derek Willis & Rusty Troutman.  I think it was 2011-12.

Bullitt East actually won it twice before, both in 2011 and 2012. No other non-Jefferson County team has won the sixth region since 1965 (Elizabethtown Catholic), but that was the last season of only one Jefferson County region. No school outside of Jefferson County has ever won the seventh region dating back to the modern alignment era that began in 1939.

This will be Bullitt East’s 4th trip to the sweet 16. 3rd as the 6th region champions. Jason Couch is no stranger to Rupp.
