I'll take Ben Johnson or Isaiah Mason.  Both have had fantastic careers (at big time programs) and are going to play at the D1 level.  Congrats to all!

Just now, Jack of all Trades said:

I will take Sam Vinson all day everyday.  He is going D1 too if that is supposed to matter.

I'm honestly not sure what the criteria or voting process looks like.

I'll take Kelly Niece. He's smart and crafty and leads the State in scoring.

I hope Kelly Niece wins.

I'd like Sam Vinson to win.

I think Ben Johnson wins.

So is Ben Johnson... and I’d say right now, it’s probably his to lose. But there are legitimately 4-5 dudes that can win. I still really hate that they give it out before the Sweet 16.

If D1 signings/commitments are part of the specs:

Zion Harmon, Marshall Co. - WKU

Isaiah Mason, Bowling Green - NKU

Cameron Pope, Male - Jacksonville State

Sam Vinson, Highlands - NKU

Ben Johnson, Lex Cath - Bellarmine

Kade Grundy, Somerset - Louisville (Baseball)

Mason Moore Rowan County -University of Kentucky (Baseball)  Held an offer from Morehead State in Basketball.

Early in the vote count, it looks like TDD may be on to something.

Johnson, Lex Cath 18

Vinson, Highlands 11

Niece, Simon Kenton 8

Harmon, Marshall Co. 4

Ben leads the #1 team in the state.  I think that matters.  Good luck to all the players.  I agree, which the postseason factored in.

My choice is Sam Vinson.  I think Ben Johnson wins it easily.

PP92 has entered the chat!

I sure do like Vinson's game; graceful and explosive in the the same package. I've seen more game tape of him than any other finalist, but then I lean NKY. For stat hounds, Sam is the only player on the list averaging a double-double.

Agree with you on Johnson, and I think he gets a nudge from voters merely by being on the top ranked team.

Trying to remain objective, but like many an AP voter, I'm buying local - Vinson.

I would go with Ben Johnson.  Vinson #2 & probably Mason #3.
