Either laziness or arrogance really did him in.

Clyde
Is this that big of a deal in regards to his long-term ability to practice law?
uk#1fan
I seen Deters in Skyline a couple weeks and all I heard was him talking about social media.

mexitucky
Is this that big of a deal in regards to his long-term ability to practice law? No, it just releases the details of some of his practices. When I read this, I began to wonder why anyone hired him. Had he been suspended for 180 days and had to reapply for entry to the Kentuck Bar Association, that would have been catastrophic.
Homer J Simpson
Maybe he should merge his practice with Blake "The Attorney" Maislan so he can raise his profile and image
bulldog77
Long, long overdue. This guy is a dirtbag in the worst possible sense of the word.
mcpapa
I know that there are some resident barristers here on BGP. I would be interested in hearing what they have to say; whether they like the man or not.
Voice of Reason
I know many attorneys and am looking for the first one who respects him.
ColonelCrazy
No, it just releases the details of some of his practices. When I read this, I began to wonder why anyone hired him. Had he been suspended for 180 days and had to reapply for entry to the Kentuck Bar Association, that would have been catastrophic. He'll have to inform all of his clients that he was suspended, but I don't anticipate any long-term effects for the Bulldog. The Bulldog is likely headed for a career outside of law in a few months/years anyway.
75center
Nothing muzzels the Bulldog. Unfortunately.
theguru
I found this quote from the article entertaining: “There are a whole lot of people in Northern Kentucky who must be tired of trying to kill the man’s legal career,” Forgy said. “There are some people up there who ought to be ashamed of themselves. They should have dropped this a long time ago.”
theguru
My experience with Deters has been good but I have some friends that are on the other side of the Deters fence.
