SHS Future
I have heard Jared Prickett has taken over management of the Kentucky Basketball Academy in Lexington. It's great to have a former Wildcat helping to develop the grassroots of Kentucky basketball. Big things are in the works for central Kentucky!! :ylsuper::banana::clap:
cammando
I've had some good times with Jared, especially on the lake... I think he will do a good job...
Musketeer_alum97
Glad to hear this. I had the oppurtunity to meet Mr. Prickett several years ago at a gas station in Pike Co. He was a really nice guy who stood and talked to me as if we had known each other for years.
Jim Schue
Does he have any real qualifications other than "ex-UK player?"
Log Mountain Boy
Does he have any real qualifications other than "ex-UK player?" 5 years of college (remember he redshirted) works for me.
Jim Schue
5 years of college (remember he redshirted) works for me. So, no real qualifications? The whole "scholarship for life" deal extended to ex-UK players is a joke. Classic example of the good-ol-boy system that has held this state back for most of its 217 years. I have no idea what hes been doing for a living. Unless you know something I don't why criticize something you know nothing about?

What is the job description for the manger of the KBA? Do you know who the other applicants were, and what their qualifications were?
UKMustangFan
He has a college degree. That right there is qualification enough to get you a job interview with almost any employer worth a darn.
The Scribe
You can add that he played basketball and will run a basketball academy.
