If it is a new record, it would be two records that he has set against Greenup County.

It does sound like GC is much improved on defense. I just wish that they could get their offense going. It sounds as if JC has things going well on both sides of the ball. I would have loved to have seen that punt that you mentioned.

Greenup County High School was formed by combining three different high schools, Greenup, Wurtland, and Mckell, starting in the 1973-1974 school year. They were given the nickname the Musketeers, and the quote of "all for one, and one for all", to symbolize the three schools coming together. At one time, the sign outside of the school had the three musketeers on it, with a G on one's belt buckle, an M on the 2nd one, and a W on the 3rd, paying homage to the three original schools. The school colors of green, black, and gold, we're adopted by choosing one color from each of the former schools, green from Greenup, black from Wurtland, and gold from Mckell. And our fight song is the Buckeye Battle Cry, from OSU, unfortunately.

Russell and Ashland. Russell because they have been our biggest rival for as long as I can remember, and Ashland just because, lol.

Congrats to the Bluebirds for the win. You all field an excellent team. Good luck tomorrow night. To my beloved GCHS, congrats to you all for a great season. Back during the first few weeks of the season, I never would have imagined that you all would have made it this far. You boys have grown and matured so much over the year. I can't wait to see what you all do in the future. I have a feeling that tonight will not be the last time that this team finishes their season at State.
