Not to mention, the number of trips to the Sweet 16 and Baseball titles.

:thumb:In terms of "major" sports (we all know T and X dominate swimming, golf, etc.) I'd have to say that the 'Boro has to have one of the better rounded athletic programs in the state.

Now if we can just get that swimming team up to par.....:D

Trinity's recent hegemony in football, St. Xavier's remarkable run in swimming and Assumption's overwhelming prominence in volleyball on a national level would be enough to make a pretty good case for Louisville.

Not in my opinion. Its not really a fair comparison when you compare a city the size of Louisville to the other towns across the state.
They don't give titles, based off town sizes. Louisville has tremendous athletic achievements and yes, a tremendous population.

Beechwood is in Fort Mitchell.

Florence is the home of the Boone County Rebels.

Yeah, I know. I just think it's hard cause most cities only have one school...outside of Lexington or Lousiville...so the title kinda goes to one of them by default.

I agree with you that it would be better to group this into regions, but sending some schools out of their local region in some sports would make it difficult to group it this way. But I like your idea better than just simply by cities.:thumb:
