Clark controlled this for 2 1/2 quaters before Mason came storming back. The Royals took their first lead of the game since the opening minutes, mid way through the 4th quater.

If I were to guess I would say about 5-6 Thousand. The place look pretty full the lower level, with the only noticable emptyness in the endzone of the upper level.

If anyone wants to meet me I'm one of the guys that tonight and tomorrow night was running around with a radio and one sweeping the floor at halftime. :sssh::lol:

I can't believe people are complaining about bags being checked at the door. This happens at all major venues. Some people are just looking for something to complain about. Also. I know of one instance Friday night at the 9th region girls game where after the game a couple Highlands fans walked on to the baseline of the court, they were nicely asked to please step off the court. One gentleman continued to walk or purposly put one foot on the court just to be a jerk and was asked a second, third, and fourth time to please step off. If I recall correctly, at the fieldhouse the ROTC usually hods a rope up so no one steps on to the court. I don't see any complaining about that. I also saw yesterday where some fans sat down on the courtside seats and were upset when they were asked to move because they did not have tickets for those seats. Those seats are more expensive then the rest of the seating. How can you complain about being moved when you're the one in the wrong seat?

I thought the atmosphere was good at the 10th yesterday considering they were opening round games. Its the semis and finals where the crowd really livens up.

Isn't this the 5th consecutive region title for Montgomery Co? Thats very impressive.

Speaking of a different region. I heard recently that Montgomery Co. would be moving to the 16th and Fleming Co. back to the 10th in the near future. Anyone know anything about this?

I am not happy about the decision not to have radio or internet broadcast of the regional games, it is ridiculous. But the message has been heard and the decision has been made. But I hope that people who are able to go to the games don't decide not to go because all you will do is miss out on great basketball and a very nice place to watch it. And to the post about the double standard about media being at NKU games. I feel that is irrelevant because the attendance to NKU games is absolutely pathetic IMO. The Men have a very good D-II program going and the Women is one of the best in the country at that level, and the community really doesn't support it that well. But the University doesn't really promote well either. So to cite it as a double standard or even an issue is meaningless in comparison to the High School Tourneys. It is upsetting, it is stupid. But IF you are able, go watch the games.

When you look at a map, it seems the southern most counties in Boone, Kenton, and Campbell counties were the ones moved out of the 9th region. Makes sense to me from a geographic standpoint with the overcrowdedness of schools in the NKY area.

I'm guessing WFTM out of Maysville will be doing the entire 10th tourney now since they are outside the radius? If you can't get the station on your radio they also stream live online, so if you're a fan from the 10th you shouldn't be complaining because you'll still get to hear it. Now if they're only aloud to do Mason and St.Pat games then nevermind.

'03 Team was deeper with Nathan Myrick, and Wes Jones. (Jones was suspended in '04 run) Also the '04 squad played a triple OT game against Trinity in the quaterfinals, and a double OT game against Scott Co. in the Semis. They were worn out by the time the championship game came around and lost by 10pts to Warren Central. (I'm not trying to say that Mason would have won if they didn't play those OT games earlier) But I think '03 was better than '04.

The way this arena is set up it is the best place for the student section. The only bleacher seats in the arena are behind the South ends basket. The students will be standing during the game they don't need to take away chairs from other fans who would not be standing cheering the entire game.

I work at the BOK, setting up the court, seating, things like that. Yes they are good seats. Section 102 is behind the scorers table, and AA is the first row. Although I must say there really isn't a bad seat in the house.
