Any idea of how many people were in attendance? Curious to how many will be there for the 9th final too.

If I were to guess I would say about 5-6 Thousand. The place look pretty full the lower level, with the only noticable emptyness in the endzone of the upper level.

Clark controlled this for 2 1/2 quaters before Mason came storming back. The Royals took their first lead of the game since the opening minutes, mid way through the 4th quater.

Gutty performance by the Royals to come back in this one. The MVP of this game, in my opinion was Coach O'Hearn for Mason Co. who did a great job rallying his kids at the half and getting them to force uptempo basketball in the second half.

 

Heck, as a fan of Mason County I am starting to think we had it wrong all along. Winning away from our home court is much easier than we thought and maybe we should take the dynasty on a tour and win a 10th Region title on every 10th Region team's home floor.

You are correct no one can say they won this one because of a home court advantage. Congats on a hard fought win.

Congratulations Royals!!!! You fought through and pulled out a tough one. You proved tonight that no matter where you play the best team REALLY does win!!!! Congrats to the Royals, they came out in the 2nd half on a mission. I of course will be cheering you on as a 10th region die hard fan at Rupp next week. I would also like to congratulate GRC on a very fine season, they have a lot to hold their heads up about and will definitely be getting that region championship in the next 2 years at least once IMO.

WOW Wow,Is all i can say.These Royals have the heart of champion and it showed big time tonight.They came out got down by double digits going into halftime,But man o man did they D up in the 2nd half and just flatout out played the Cards.This one in my book is sweeter than the last few because last year everybody knew who was going to win going in and it wasn't close.This year though playing the underdog role as MOST said GRC was the heavy favorite and being able to come back after being down by 10+ and beat them is so sweet.Now lets go win 4 more next week and bring home the big hardware again,You can do it.It is nice to keep on winning them away from Home also.Congrats to Grc on a fine season also.

I believe this makes 6 of the last 8 region titles to Maysville and this one was with no Lofton or Miller.
