In some ways a surprise, and in other ways not. It is going to be very interesting roster watching over the summer.

Why so?

Bad hire thats why so. Runs a terrible program has a poor attitude which in turns rubs off on the kids. Acts like a 2 year old when things dont go his way. Bad hire for NDA..

Heard it came down between Murphy and Community Christians boys coach Ryan Smith. They went with Murphy because of the experiernce working in girls basketball. Straight from horses mouth.

IMO, Great hire for NDA. He had a very good team coming back, but he may understand the talent of the incoming class to NDA as well. I have no inside info, but would guess VonHandorf and Kez will be more diplomatic with the "club situations" to allow kids to balance the soccer / basketball commitments in a healthy way. At least, I hope so.

Unless he plans on taking some of the HC kids with him :sneaky:, very surprised he would leave HC with the talent they have coming back. They should be one of the top teams in the 9th and should have a legit shot at the All-A title next season.

The landscape of the 9th region will be interesting with this hire. As much as ppl think that this was a good hire for NDA, there are alot more that goes into coaching and everything that glitters aint gold. I know that there will be some girls that were suppose to go to NDA that will be looking for another school because of this hire.
