BigVMan23
Ok, I got 16 of them...but I AIN'T older than dirt! It hasn't been all that long ago that some of those things went the way of the dodo bird. heck, drive ins still exist, as do candy cigs (got a pack not too long ago). Now, if anyone says "yes" to #8, then they would have to say yes to all of them because I think those went away in the 50's.

Bengal Maniac
I have experienced all 20. But I am older than dirt and should have. We actually had milk delivered to the back porch. It stopped when I was 6 or 7 (1960 or 61), but I remember. Black Jack gum was awful. Clark gum was right there with it on the shelf. I had a burr haircut, so never used butch wax. Interesting, I remember Howdy Doody but hardly ever watched. Now Captain Kangaroo, I probably saw every episode ever made. You could get a really bad burned hand with those blue flashbulbs. My family used to release them into big table ash trays. Woodland (WO) 9-6471 was my home land line number. It was a private line. My grandma had a party line and she would pick up quietly to hear the gossip. My mon collected both S&H (green) and Top Value (yellow) trading stamps. I could go on and on. I really remember everything on here vividly. Brings back a lot of good memories.

Bengal Maniac
8 I also remember going in store and buying my dad cigarettes out of a lever pull machine. I remember 25cents a pack, maybe cheaper, but 25 cents I remember. Started getting them out of the machine at 15. Nobody cared in the late 60's. Nobody cared in the late 60's. Or the mid 70s. I think they were .75 a pack then. All I know is dad would give me quarters and say go get me a pack of Marlboro's. I can remember my dad telling me "before you know it cigarettes will be $1.00 a pack." Right now, I think there in the 5 to 6 dollar a pack range.
