DevilMayCare Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 2024 Schedule Aug 23 vs. Butler County Aug 30 at Rossview (TN) Sep 6 vs. Russellville Sep 13 at Greenwood Sep 20 at Allen County-Scottsville* Sep 27 at Calloway County* Oct 4 vs. Paducah Tilghman* Oct 11 - BYE Oct 18 vs. Hopkinsville* Oct 25 at Warren East* Nov 1 vs. South Warren *District With what they lost from last season, the question isn't "can the Cougars challenge Tilghman for the district?", but rather "can they fend off WE and ACS to repeat last year's second place finish?". The offense should revolve around the arm of quarterback Ridge Holman, who threw for 2,400 yards and 24 touchdowns as a sophomore. 1 1
Mpb77 Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 Logan County will have skill players to compete with most of their schedule. Will be young this year in many spots. The big question marks I see is the line. If the can hold together they will have a solid year. No doubt about it Coach Adler will have a scheme together to keep them in almost all games.
TheBallCoach Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 I’d argue that Todd Adler is one of the better HS football coaches in this SOKY area, I believe the Cougars should come in 2nd place and secure a home game this fall. Very high on the JR Ridge Holman, the 6’4 210 lb frame coupled with the arm talent makes for some entertaining QB play. The young man threw for 2,405 yards and 24 TD’s last year along with a 60% completion. Losing 2/3 of the teams leading receivers along with both leading rushers you have to wonder who he will be facilitating it to this season. SR Brady Hinton and SR Hunter Holloway are the two names that come to mind for production out wide. Hinton had 52 catches last year with 563 yards and 7 TDs. Cougars should look to JR Jackson Kemplin to take majority of the load out of the backfield. Other than Greenwood, PT, and South Warren, I don’t see any reason why Logan County wouldn’t finish the regular season 7-3. 1
