MJAlltheWay24
I thought about it during my morning walk with my puppy. Today is always a day that I just stop and reflect on what our soldiers did this day.
John Anthony
We gave 'em hell that day! Proud to be an Anerican.
The Professor
My dad landed at Omaha Beach on D-Day. He would sometimes talk about it if someone asked him a question about it, but not very often. He passed away in 1995. The WWII veteran numbers are thinning.
Run To State
My buddy's dad was an Army Ranged that landed on D-Day, but I forget which beach. These fine men, like @The Professor's dad, are true American Heros! Thanks for posting this thread, @SportsGuy41017.
Jim Schue
I have a friend that survived Omaha Beach. You, of course, were too old for military service at that time?
jericho
My papaw and my wife's papaw both stormed the beaches today. A great generation of people, now we have a bunch of scum bugs here who hate America.

SportsGuy41017
The greatest generation. One main reason is that they worked together.
