jessepinkman
I picked up my Paducah Sun this morning and the front page has a picture of McCracken Co practicing in helmets and shoulder pads. Then the article stated that they have been in pads since Monday! According to the emails I have read from KHSAA you couldn't put shoulder pads on until July 25 and can't go full pads until Aug. 1. Looks like McCracken gets a jump on everyone else in the state.

jericho
No one could wear helmets in practice until yesterday unless you were 7-7 with another team. NO ONE can be in full gear until Aug 1 Can't wear shoulder pads until next Tuesday on 28th. McCracken should be punished by taking away scrimmage for breaking rules, plus if a kid gets hurt the school and coach are liable and open to lawsuit. It's the way the world is today. No court would side with the coach for breaking rules or claiming not knowing.
