oldrambler
Can you transfer some of that fire to some of the UK players? I think WCS also puts out effort, just lacking in basketball IQ right now.I wish, I think that you may be right about WCS. Also, Wiltzer looks like he is loafing at times but in reality he's just that slow.
hrcarrier
Not surprised by the loss, I am by the margin. Never thought that Noel's presence being gone would make them this weak of a team.
swamprat
Did they say with about 6 or 8 minutes left that Tennessee had zero turnovers? If that was the case, they committed 14 between then and the end of the game. I don't think that happened.
4chs
Not surprised by the loss, I am by the margin. Never thought that Noel's presence being gone would make them this weak of a team. UK's poor defensive play has been disguised due to Noel being in the paint, now they score at will, although it does take them several shots on occasion. They have been bad offensively for much of the year, so that kind of shows us what can be expected down the road.
Clyde
Maybe Coach Sean Woods was right.

He's that slow, because to me Kyle looked like he was doing all he could, but was doing things outside his wheel house. He lead the team in scoring and rebounding today. Even doing all he can, this kid cannot put this team on his back and go. In fact, even with Noel, the Cats would have lost this game the way Tennessee was shooting and Kentucky wasn't. Not as bad, but they would have lost it.
Clyde
Cal said the only 2 that fought today were Uncle Julius and Polson. Said he has a couple of players that are uncoachable.

Maybe they were talking about one of the players and not the entire team.

I think we have a good idea who those couple of players are.

bugatti
Without a doubt the worst embarrassment in the history of U.K. basketball . Polson was the only player that put out any effort at all. Should everyone on that team play with Polson's heart then we would have no problems. Harrow as far as I am concerned can walk back to Lexington, I have never seen such a soft/cry baby (I have a more fitting term) U.K. basketball player. "If" anyone on this team cares( besides Polson) they should watch a film of the Vol players laughing at them on several occasions, sickening. Just to clear it up if anyone is unsure.....I'm upset I can't go the worst. Down 45-11 or whatever it was at Vandy was worse. Gardner-Webb the same season. But this certainly receives an honorable mention.
bugatti
Anyone know Harrow's stat line? I'm pretty sure he didn't score, doubt that he had any assists or rebounds, but on the good side of the ledger, I can't remember any turnovers. I will not be surprised to see him transfer again, has some talent, just probably needs to play in a less stressful environment. 0-2 from the field, 0 Rebs, 0 points, 0 assists, 0 steals, 1 turnovers, 5 fouls, 18 minutes. For Cal to admit that is rather amazing. We've seen what he can do with prima donna's before and he can't coach these 2?
