I hope some of the posters are kidding about needing a different coach. What a joke. UK just won the national title. Grow up and don't be one of those losers.

I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt that you are kidding.

Let's hope.

EDIT: I've figured it out, it's a BigGreenHorse type situation.

Obviously what Cal is/was doing, works, because he hung a banner....that being said, when you get a team, where the plan doesn't work (this year)......you're going to get a lot of kids who look lost. Cal is a top shelf coach (more recruiter, but I digress), development of players, is certainly not his thing, and that is rearing it's ugly head this season.

I'm not sure you can fault his player development too much. Think of the improvements of Bledsoe, Cousins, Harrellson, Liggins, and Teague, not to mention how much better Noel was compared to the start of the season. I think Cal may not be the best X&O guy, but everyone has those complaints about their coach.

Ultimately it seems like Cal has tried everything with no success. Anyone who has ever taught or coached will tell you that sometimes it just happens. That seems to be the case this year.

He is back

As far as bad losses go, this one is bad, but I don't think it is in the same league as the 150-95 beat down we took from Kansas in Pitino's first year. I'm still fired up about that one.

As for today's game, I was listening to Tom Leach on the radio, and he called Jon Hood's name several times towards the end of the game. It sounded like Hood was giving a good effort when he got into the game.

Maybe it is time we get a coach who can develop a player instead of one that recruits all these one and done players.

UK Fans are always accused of being fair-weather fans. I wonder why. Wow!

I have and will always love UK. But I don't like Cal! I hated him when he coached U Mass and I still do.

Don't get it twisted. I'm a UK fan all the way... You're kidding yourself if you can't admit that Cal sometimes says too much... What if the two players he publicly criticized said to a reporter that Cal's coaching methods aren't understandable or clear?

If they said that then they'd be one of only a few. If a teacher has been teaching for 20+ years and has had a lot of success and a high number of students that went on to excel in Math or whatever subject the yeah taught and then one year she had 2 students that struggled, is it more likely the teachers fault or the students?

Why do you hate him?

Cousins, Bledsoe? REally.....development doesn't happen in 4 months...it takes a year or two. Come on now.

Why would I like him? He doesn't even recruit instate talent.

Kentucky is obviously just trying to hurt Louisville's seed by killing its RPI. #Shrewd

Yeah, Noel hasn't gotten any better this year.
